With The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos launching tomorrow the developers have added a new patch to the game. Allowing players to access the DLC content even after the "point of no return".
Necessary files to The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos have been added. Murder on Eridanos will release on March 17th!
Changes/fixes that are included in this patch are as follows:
General:
Save files from beyond the "point of no return" will now allow players to access the "Peril on Gorgon" and "Murder on Eridanos" DLCs. After installing a new DLC, attempting to load a save file at the end of the game will give an option to instead place the player onboard the Unreliable, with access to the rest of the Halcyon system restored.
Fixed an issue where Nyoka's face animations could stop updating during conversations.
Updated the description of the "Robophobia" Flaw to be more accurate.
The frame rate cap has been removed on PS5 and Series X (not Series S).
The Outer Worlds is now available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC.
