Ratalaika Games and Venturous have announced the upcoming release of Voyage, a relaxing and lovely cinematic exploration of the world. Voyage, labeled as a fun side-scrolling game, delivers much more than that, as it follows two survivors on an unknown planet as their story progresses. The game will be released on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.

Throughout Voyage, players will piece together a mystery from the past. Three storylines are being told simultaneously in Voyage. Gameplay refers to the real journey; Statue Scenes are personal memories, and Murals depict historical events. The journeys are filled with various obstacles that will halt and delay them as they attempt to move forward, regardless of whether you choose to play the game by yourself or cooperatively.

In the single-player mode, as opposed to the two-player cooperative option, one of the game's two protagonists takes on the role of an AI companion, making it feel like you are playing the game with a real-life friend. Players can switch between the characters at any one time, interact with things and climb together, point and even hug each other, tell the other character to follow or stay put, and so on.

Many of Voyage's objectives, such as pushing pillars, moving things, and aiding each other while climbing, need the cooperation of the two characters. In addition, the story is shaped by the players' shared experiences with the game. Cooperative or solo, you'll be following two survivors as they try to uncover a secret and find a way home together in the course of the game.

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to play in an environment where no one can hear you speak, Voyage is the perfect place to start. Voyage will be available for $14.99 / €14.99 on August 12 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
