As far as offbeat games go, Soda Drinker Pro is one of the most intriguing titles to release in recent years. This “FPS (First Person Soda) drinking simulation” will now go from PC to Xbox One, through Microsoft’s indie program.
In Soda Drinker Pro, players quite literally just saunter with a soda in hand, to experience what it feels like to go through oddly drawn environments while drinking a beverage. For Xbox One, the 100 simulations present will be appended with 10 exclusive levels for the console version. It’s even possible to use Kinect to play, somehow.
If that wasn’t weird enough for you, Soda Drinker Pro also houses another full game inside of it, called Vivian Clark. In this game, players can switch their perspective to different characters that roam around its universe. Depending on what character is embodied, the game’s mechanisms alter. For Xbox One, Vivian Clark will receive a new game engine, improved graphics, gameplay and so on.
If you ever felt that gaming wasn't thinking outside the box enough for you, maybe you need to give Soda Drinker Pro a try.
