Pokémon Puzzle Challenge and Pokémon Trading Card Game will be available for digital download

As announced today by Nintendo of America, two Pokémon titles will be available for digital purchase in the 3DS Virtual Console. Unfortunatelly, and despite everyon'es best hopes, they will not be core games, but spin-offs. Pokémon Puzzle Challenge and Pokémon Trading Card Game will be the newest additions to the eShop catalogue, which is great news for Pokémon fans, because both titles are highly acclaimed and ensure hours of Pocket Monsters fun.

Pokémon TCG Pokémon Puzzle Challenge

For those who haven't played the games, we are guessing quite a bit, taking into account both were released around fourteen years ago, it's a great chance to get to know a part of Pokémon and gaming history. The release for digital download of Pokémon Trading Card Game fits perfectly into Nintendo's strategy to release the trading card game for the iOS earlier this month. And, if we consider that the remakes of Saphire and Ruby are in their way, we can firmly say the next months will be a handfull of Pokémon action.

Pokémon Puzzle Challenge will be available November 6 at a $5 USD price tag, while Pokémon Trading Card Game will arrive merely a week later, November 13, for only $6 USD. It's important to note that the TCG is already available for purchase in Europe.

Last, but not least, Nintendo of America also revealed a new way players will gain access to the demo of the remakes of Saphire and Ruby: the receit for the purchase of either Pokémon TGC or Puzzle Challenge will come along with a code for download, so there's another good reason to buy any of these.
