Developer Rebellion has announced that it’s remastering the 1998 PC arcade game Battlezone.
“Designed for the next generation of virtual reality devices, Battlezone (working title) delivers intense first-person tank warfare across gorgeous neon landscapes, combing the instant adrenaline of the arcade with a deeper tactical challenge.” The VR reboot of the game will be a remake of the 1980 Atari game and is confirmed to release on PS4 (Project Morpheus) and PC.
Details are scarce but Rebellion has released several screenshots highlighting the landscape and tanks within the game. Are you excited for this remastered Battlezone, sound off in the comments below.
