If Pokémon Go was any indicator people really love the franchise. Pokémon Sun and Moon has been reported by Japanese site Famitsu to have reached nearly 2 million sold to retail over the past three days. This makes Pokémon Sun and Moon the second best 3DS game, behind Pokémon X and Y.
This isn't surprising considering that the game broke Nintendo's pre-order record numbers on the eShop alone. Nintendo has revealed that 10 million copies of the game have been shipped to retailers around the world, 1.5 times the copies sold of Pokémon X and Y.
