For Honor is having another open beta, you know, for the gamers not special enough to get into the closed beta.
Before the game officially releases players can help Ubisoft test their upcoming IP as Knights, Samurai, and Vikings kill each other in bloody combat. The open beta will begin February 9th ends February 12th.
The open beta will continue the game's War of the Factions feature which allows you to pledge from one of the three factions and claim rewards. Items will unlock once the game releases.
Ubisoft will host a special livestream next week consisting of a “squad of celebrity warriors and top streamers” that will show off the game in action, with scheduled guests to include Lauren Cohan (The Walking Dead), Jason Momoa (Justice League), Alfie Allen (Game of Thrones), and MMA fighter Demetrious Johnson.
Ubisoft confirmed that For Honor will get a season pass and free DLC after the game launches.
The season pass will cost $40 and comes with six new heroes that will be available seven days before they are released for everyone else. It also includes "elite" outfits for the six DLC heroes and a Day One War Pack. This includes a "sunbeam" effect for hero emotes, three emblem outlines, three scavenger crates which work as loot boxes for extra items.
For Honor releases on February 14th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
