If you woke up wishing life would be more kawaii than it currently is, you might be happy to know that Gal*Gun 2 is happenning. PQube and Inti Creates have announced the sequel to their 2016 Gal*Gun Double Peace will be launching sometime in Q1 2018 on the PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Gal*Gun 2 will feature a brand new story.
"The story of Gal*Gun 2 kicks off with the demon-hunting angel Risu, who finds herself in a really tough spot. Making things even more complicated for our protagonist are two new heroines: the "girl next door" Chiru, who happens to be a total shut-in, and your childhood friend and classmate Nanako."
Players will engage in sucking up demons from the girls they're possessing using their "Demon Sweeper" sidearm, all for the purpose of a happy academy life. It's worth noting that the Doki Doki mode will also be making a return. A playable PS4 demo of Gal*Gun 2 will be available at this year's Tokyo Game Show.
