Overwatch is Getting Xbox One X Enhancements
Like everything else, Overwatch is getting an Xbox One X update
News by Grayshadow on Nov 13, 2017
Almost every major release for the Xbox One is getting an enhancement update for the Xbox One X. To no surprise Overwatch is getting one as well.
The patch is already in development and will include 4K resolution but the team is looking for more ways to take advantage of the Xbox One X's power. This means the update could include much more.
No release date was given for the update but it's likely to coincide with the update for 2018 that will include new skins. Other developers have included their Xbox One X update with other patches that add fixes and tweaks.
However, considering the sheer size of the update Blizzard might release this one separately. Considering that a new hero is also in development perhaps they'll want to avoid trying to beat Quantum Break's 178GB Xbox One X update.
Overwatch is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. If you haven't tried it yet you can play it for free this weekend!
