Outland And Nex Machina Developer Working On A New Game, Looking For Playtesters

Housemarque Developing unannounced PC game

By Grayshadow, Posted 17 Jan 2018

Housemarque, known for Outland, Resogun, and Nex Machina, is working on another game on the PC but they keeping its details secret.

Housemarque is looking for playtesters so if you want to try the game before anyone else you should sign up.

We are currently working on an unannounced project for PC. It is rather early in development but as the production moves forward we are going to need testers for it.

You can apply with this form.

If you get accepted, you will receive an electronic non-disclosure agreement that you need to sign. After that you will receive more information about the project and its future tests. Expect something other than an arcade game.

Feel free to share this with your friends ;)

Don't expect another game like Nex Machina as the studio did confirm back in 2017 that they were leaving the arcade shooter genre behind due to poor sales of Nex Machina.

However despite critical success and numerous awards, our games just haven’t sold in significant numbers. While some of them have reached a massive audience due to free game offerings across various digital sales channels, this unfortunately doesn’t help pay for development, which gets costly for high production quality. We are extremely grateful to our fans and partners, who have enabled us to work on awesome games like Super Stardust HD and Outland. For your unfailing love and support we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Perhaps we'll get another game like Outland.
