Star Wars Battlefront II has had an incredibly difficult launch due to a predatory microtransaction and EA defense of the flawed progression system. After removing the microtransactions and refining the progression system Star Wars Battlefront II has become a much better experience. Now EA has confirmed that a new mode is coming along with the return of the game's premium currency Crystals.
The new mode is called Ewok Hunt and recreates the Battle of Endor. Players take control of either Stormtroopers or Ewoks during the iconic fight from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. When an Ewok kills a Stormtrooper they respawn as an Ewok.
In addition, EA is bringing back premium currency, which can only be purchased using real-world money, and can only be used for cosmetic items. Joining the cosmetics are 2 new costumes for Han and Leia, both inspired by Return of the Jedi.
