EA and DICE are taking advantage of their recent decision to delay Battlefield V by providing a new video called "This is Battlefield" to provide more information about the upcoming WW2 shooter. We got new information about multiplayer, single-player, and future updates.
Battlefield V will launch with 8 new modes called:
Final Stand
Airborne
Breakthrough
Domination
Frontlines
Team Deathmatch
Conquest Assault
Conquest
Ground Operations will feature multiple maps in 4 in-game days.
Firestorm, the battle royale, the mode will feature 16 teams of 4 with the largest map in the franchise. It'll be full of vehicles and destructive buildings in an ever shirking safe area.
Battlefield has been notorious for destruction but now players can build with the Fortification system. Each class with have a toolbox to create barricades, fortify buildings, tank stoppers, sandbag trenches and more.
War Stories returns with 5 new stories, one being offered after the game's release. This includes the Prologue, which features a pilot, Nordlys, a Norway resistance fighter taking on German soldiers during their occupation, and 3 more. Tirailleur, Under No Flag, and The Last Tiger, coming post-launch, were not shown.
Tides of War is the post-launch campaign with the first being The Falls of Europe. New weapons, combat rolls, fortifications, and more will also be offered. In early 2019 will offer a new location in Greece.
Battlefield V launches on November 20th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
