For 2 weekends gamers on all platforms can try the game. PC players will need to play through Uplay and Xbox One and PS4 users will need the system's respected premium service to access the game. The weekend events will happen on September 6-10 for PC, September 11-20 for Xbox One, and September 13-25 for PS4.

If you choose to purchase the game, which has been discounted for the month, all progress will carry over.

If you're ready to keep playing after the trial period is over, the Standard and Gold Editions of The Division will be on sale for 70% off via Uplay from September 6-10; on Xbox Live from September 11-20; and on PSN from September 13-25. Additionally, select vanity items will be on sale for up to 50% off on all platforms from September 6-19. Any progress you make during the free weekend will carry over to the full version of the game, and players who've already played the current trial version – which offers full access until level 8 or six hours of playtime – will still have full access during the free weekend.

The Division is now available for PS4, PC and Xbox One. The Division 2 is set to release on the same platforms in Spring 2019.
