Anthem Closed Alpha Begins December 8

Play Anthem early, if you're lucky

Anthem is EA and BioWare's next huge game and BioWare wants to ensure the game's online features are working. With that, a closed alpha is scheduled for December 8th and 9th for those selected.

The Closed Alpha will be under NDA, which means no information, footage, or images can be shared in any way.

What’s a Closed Alpha?

It’s an opportunity for you to check out Anthem but we’ll also be adjusting things like matchmaking and server load on the fly.

These Community Playtests are more limited than what we want to share in the pre-launch demos. All of these factors combined mean that we’re making access to our Playtests limited, which is where the “closed” part of the name comes from.

You can register for the test here.

BioWare is also planning to attend The Game Awards 2018, which Casey Hudson has hinted at the possible reveal of a new Dragon Age game.

Anthem will launch this February 22nd, 2019 and February 1st for the demo.
