EA Files Plants Vs. Zombies: Battle For Neighborville Trademark

Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 launched in 2016 and it seems that a new entry is on the way. With Electronic Arts recently filing a trademark for the name Plant vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville.

The filing was reported by Gematsu where the filing was found in records on the European Union's Intellectual Property Office's website, where it's classified under NICE classes 9 and 41 which identify it as an entertainment product and computer game software.

There's nothing much to go on. It can be a new competitive shooter or a new mobile game. With EA investing more on the mobile market, it's possible. One thing is possible, card packs and heavy microtransactions will be part of it.
