Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Adds Cuphead Another Sword Fighter, Fire Emblem Three Houses’ Byleth
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate adds another sword fighter
News by Grayshadow on Jan 16, 2020
Many were excited for the new character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. However, that changes when the character was revealed. Joining the game is the protagonist, male and female, of Fire Emblem Three Houses.
Byleth will launch on January 28 for $5.99. It'll be the final fighter of the first DLC Fighters Pass, following Joker from Persona 5, the Dragon Quest Hero, Banjo & Kazooie, and SNK’s Terry Bogard.
Masahiro Sakurai was very entertaining about the news. Taking part in the jokes of Smash having too many sword fighters. Having Byleth uses a variety of swords.
In addition, Cuphead has joined the ranks but in the way of a cosmetic option. The Mii Fighter costumes can now include not only Cuphead but the Rabbits from Rayman, Mega Man from the Network series, and even Altair from Assassin's Creed. Similar to how Sans is technically in the game.
As you might expect, fans are not happy. The like to dislike ratio speaks wonders. Many were hoping that Capcom's Dante would join the ranks but no. However, the demon hunter could join the game next season.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is now available for Nintendo Switch.
