illFonic's upcoming Predator: Hunting Grounds is having a free trial version for PS4 and PC versions of the game.
The trailer period will start on March 27th and have players fighting in the South American jungle. Called Overgrowth players will navigate the hostile forces will either trying to escape or kill the Predator. Who is being controlled by a player.
Players taking control of the soldiers will have a random selection of missions to complete before the chopper is accessible. With the soldiers being hunted by the Predator and attempting to kill the hostile soldiers within the Jungle.
In one mission, you and your team are asked to cut off fuel to the local guerrillas, who are buying massive fuel shipments from an elusive black market contact. You’re being sent in to find the fuel stores and destroy them, disrupting operations in the area for the foreseeable future. Once the fuel has been dealt with, you will need to find the black market operative and take them off the board. In addition to this mission, and hunting the Predator if you choose, you could be asked to accomplish multiple other random missions like sabotage an expensive solar array in enemy camps, destroy dangerous weapon stores, set fire to narcotics, clean up contaminated water sources, and many more.
Players will be given limited access to unlockables.
The Predator has access to 3 classes, Hunter Berserker, and Scout. But you'll only be able to access the Hunter class during the trial but also have access to a male or female version. The Predator must kill all active players but if enough damage is dealt can trigger a self-destruct.
Predator: Hunting Grounds launches this April 24th for PS4 and PC.
