Daedalic Entertainment have been busy showing off their upcoming titles at various conventions lately. We thought we'd give a nice reminder of what's coming up in the near and somewhat-distant future from the German publisher/developer.

Shadow Tactics - Blades Of The Shogun was announced back in March, promising some 25 hours of real time tactics with some added stealth. In the meantime, new screenshots have surfaced. The game will be released some time in Q4 2016.

The Long Journey Home is an upcoming space exploration RPG in which players will be able to explore a procedurally generated universe. The gameplay is said to be freeform, giving the player full reins of the ship. Before setting off on your mission, you'll have to choose four crew members from a total of ten, each with his or her own abilities, which are said to change the way you'll approach your mission, depending on the mixture of crewmates you have with you at any given time. At this year's San Diego Comic Con, the entire ten member crew was announced featuring: Dr. Miri Wagner (Applied Physicist), Simon Castillo (Vice President of Schiaparelli Mining Group), Professor Nikolai Lebedev (Researcher), Benoit Verdier (Theoretical Physicist), Kirsten Barnasso (Astronaut), Dr. Siobhan Artigan (Archaeologist), Dr. Ashwan Malhotra (Bothanist), Alessandra Iacovelli (Engineer), Zoe Creed (Student/Blogger), Malcolm Winters (Test Pilot). It'll be interesting to see how every character will influence what you're able to do during the actual gameplay. The game will be releasing on PC during the second half of 2016, while the Xbox One and PS4 crowd will have to wait until the first half of 2017.

State of Mind, set for a Q1 2017 release for PC, Mac, Linux, PS4 and Xbox One, is an 3rd person adventure thriller that focuses on transhumanism and, particularly, a world divided between a dystopian Berlin of 2048 and a virtual utopia that goes by the name of CITY5. While the latter is being used as a solution to diverting people's attention from the decaying state of the real world, the game's protagonist, Richard Nolan, can access both worlds due to an error in the system at the time of his uploading into CITY5. Written by Martin Ganteföhr, the game will offer some 20 hours of playtime.

Last but not least, we have Silence. This adventure game explores the relationship between a brother and a sister who find themselves in a realm between life and death that, while initially idyllic, was also affected by the ongoing war. Silence is also the sequel to The Whispered World. With 3 playable characters and some 12 hours of gameplay, Silence is said to release in Q4 2016 for PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One and PS4.

Personally, I'm very much looking forward to State of Mind and Silence. Which one of these games has caught your interest?
