Publisher and developer Night School Studio is gearing up for the release of Afterparty, its upcoming narrative-driven adventure game, later this month. The title follows Milo and Lola, two best friends who, after crossing paths with the Grim Reaper, end up in Hell.
While Afterparty's version of hell doesn't exactly lack flames, it's also drenched in neon and filled with bars offering all manner of beverages. Not only that, but rumor has it that if they manage to outdrink Satan himself, Milo and Lola can get a second chance at that entire life thing.

Afterparty focuses on its "intelligent conversation system that changes the story and your relationships based on every decision". Through dialogue, you'll uncover the protagonists' past alongside the reason why they didn't end up floating on a fluffy cloud in Heaven.
The beverages you buy at Hell's various bars grant you new dialogue choices which, I imagine, do come in handy sooner or later. Afterparty is set to release later this month, on October 29th. The game is headed to PC, via the Epic Games Store, Xbox One, and PS4.
