Age of Wonders: Planetfall Locks Down Release Date; Details Special Editions

Publisher Paradox Interactive has announced that 4x sci-fi strategy game Age of Wonders: Planetfall will officially release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One come August 6th. The upcoming title's three editions have also been detailed.

Priced at $49.99, or your regional equivalent, Age of Wonders: Planetfall's Standard Edition includes the main game alongside the Paragon Noble Cosmetic Pack, which acts as a pre-order bonus for all three editions. The Deluxe Edition, available for $59.99, adds the Bravado Bundle and Spacerpunk Cosmetic Packs alongside the Infested Worlds Scenario Planets, original soundtrack and a digital artbook to the Standard Edition's offering.

Lastly, the Age of Wonders: Planetfall Premium Edition, which costs $89.99, contains everything in the previous two editions, alongside forum icons, wallpapers and a Season Pass that gives access to three post-launch expansions, as well as a platform-specific instant reward.

Age of Wonders: Planetfall is the first title in the series placed in a sci-fi setting. As one of six playable factions, which include dinosaur-riding Amazons and cyborg-zombies, players set out to rebuild following the collapse of the Star Union. Whether in campaign, skirmish or multiplayer, exploration, negotiation and turn-based battles lie at the core of building your planetary empire.
