Agence is a brand new VR title that combines AI and dynamic narrative. With the player playing god as they shift the direction of these various planets and the lifeforms living on these planets.

Players plant flowers that will help shape each planet or choose not to. The "Agents" are AIs that the player can alter by changing their neutral networks which can learn using "Reinforcement Learning". Each time the "Agents" die and how they live will alter their behavior. These tools are open source and the developers are encouraging the community to tinker with agents to not only help with the film but create tools to make reinforcement learning more accessible.
The Agents in the film have been trained to think for themselves utilizing reinforcement learning AI, creating unpredictable results and reactions every time
?Agent brains are on a constant training regimen, the reinforcement learning process powering each character, loopingmillions of times, doling out positiveand negative rewards along the way, leading to higher levels of intelligence
?Agence gives Visitors a sense of omniscient and abstract control over AI, giving them a sense of understanding of what it means to control and influence a virtual being
?Visitors can subtly manipulate Agents’ actions through direct interference or just watch through casual observation. Either way, the Agence universe and story will never be the same
?A visit in Agence takes roughly 5-10 minutes, but the experience is designed for replayability so Visitors can see how the events unfold differently each time. Visitors can also check back in periodically after launch as the Agence team adds new Agent Brains that continue altering the way Agence unfolds.
Agence is now available for VR through Oculus and Viveport and mobile devices on the Google and Apple stores.
