Apex Legends Sees Record Concurrent Player Count

The Steam Charts shows Apex Legends to have broken a new record for concurrent players.

The game hit an impressive peak of 129,928 concurrent players for January 30th, just before the release of the hotly anticipated Season 8.

The end of season period usually sees a large volume of players race to complete and unlock everything before moving on to a new set of challenges.

Season 8 is set to release on the 2nd of February at 10 A.M. PT and 6 P.M. GMT.

As is a tradition for the series, Season 8 will introduce a new Legend, with this season's new arrival being Fuse - an Australian explosives expert.
