Arkane Studios' Trademarks The Crossing, A Forgotten Game

Dishonored 2 is almost here but Bethesda parent company, ZeniMax, has filed a trademark for The Crossing. This game was put on hold indefinitely on October 11th with the United States Patent & Trademark Office. 

Before Dishonored the company was working on an FPS game called The Crossing. During its development, the studio stated the game would mix single-player and multiplayer but no further details were given; with the exception of leaked online videos. After financial challenges the company put the game on hold and ZeniMax purchased Arkane one year later.

Considering that the company brought back Prey it can be argued that The Crossing could return.

However, until Bethesda or ZeniMax state anything this could be just a filing to keep the trademark on lockdown.
