Assassin's Creed movie coming May 22, 2015

Micheal Fassbender will be appearing in the upcoming Assassin's Creed movie and now the film is expected to release on May 22, 2015. Fassbender is known for playing Magneto in X-Men: First Class and David in Prometheus.

According to Game Informer, via BoxOfficeMojo, the movie is expected to be released on May 22, 2015. It's still unknown who Fassbender will be playing, whether assassin or templar. The film is going to be written by Michael Lesslie.

This will be the first time we'll see Ubisoft's legendary franchise on the big screen. But the Assassin's Creed franchise has met with positive feedback from previous short films that include the live-action tale, Assassin's Creed Lineage, starring Ezio's father Giovanni Auditore and Assassin's Creed Embers starring Ezio himself.
