I have to take back what I said about Kevin Conroy playing The Dark Knight in the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins. Instead Warner Bros. has confirmed Joystiq that Batman will be played by Roger Craig Smith and Troy Baker will be the voice of Joker.
Baker told Joystiq "Being a part of Arkham City was incredible - because I'm a huge Batman fan…And to play Two-Face and Robin after growing up watching The Animated Series was a banner moment for me." Although Kevin Conroy said he was going to be part of Arkham Origins, what part he'll play remains a mystery.
Roger Smith has played Ezio Auditore from the Assassin's Creed series, Chris Redfield from Resident Evil, and his the current voice of Sonic the Hedgehog. Baker is know for his role as Booker DeWitt from BioShock: Infinite, Snow from Final Fantasy XIII, Kai Leng from Mass Effect 3, and Vincent from Catherine.

In addition to this information the new Batman: Arkham Origins trailer has been posted shedding more information about the prequel. The trailer showcases Batman taking out Black Mask's henchmen, in one particularly way The Dark Knight breaks through the wooden floor and drags one of them underneath. Batman then charges into a fight with Deathstroke, after a warehouse explodes, but is intervened by another Assassin, Deadshot, who is also after the bounty on Batman's head. Before escaping a life and death situation Black Mask reveals that several assassins have been given the task of eliminating Batman before beating on his wounded man on the head with a piece of wood.
Batman: Arkham Origins is set to release on October 25, 2013 for Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Wii U. Also watch the trailer, it's incredible.
