Capcom Will Support Street Fighter V Throughout 2016 and Beyond

Today Street Fighter V finally released with critical acclaim, many deeming it one of the greatest installments in the fighting series. With its release Capcom has decided to release some information regarding future content.

First up Capcom has announced that they plan to support the title throughout, and beyond, 2016 with “gameplay content, costumes, new challenges and balance system updates”. Street Fighter V will also have microtranstions, by purchasing Zenny players can unlock new content or earn in-game money called Fight Money by completing challenges to unlock all “post launch gameplay content” which can be earned completely free of charge.
The first content update will arrive in March, adding the in-game store and a new fighter Alex. Players can purchase Alex through the in-game store using Fight Money or Zenny. The cinematic story expansion will release in June 2016.
Street Fighter V is now available for PS4 and PC.
