Code Vein Will Have Weapons And Armor Upgrades

The official Twitter account for the upcoming FromSoftware game Code Vein just revealed new screenshots confirming that the vampire-focused action-adventure RPG will have weapon and armor upgrading.
The screenshots showcase a Strengthen menu for the Halberd called Bisecting Garnet at what seems to be a blacksmith shop. The update cost 600 Haze, the game's currency, and 1x Queen Iron confirming an ore and resource system.
The upgrade screens show that both attack and defense attributes are available, almost similar to the Dark Souls franchise. Weapons weight and damage are typed as Cut, Thrust, and Blunt.
Code Vein is now in development for Xbox One, PS4, and PC and scheduled for 2018 release.
