In this latest trailer it is clear that Dead Island 2 will pop out way more.

With just a few days away from its launch, Dead Island 2 gets a launch trailer. Dead Island 2 was originally announced all the way back at E3 2014, almost 10 years ago. Not to mention the fact that Dead Island: Riptide, the last true entry in the series came out back in 2013. So it is no surprise that this launch trailer goes all out to show off what the game has to offer while comparing it to what the series has evolved from.
With life on the beach becoming an undead nightmare on the beach, it's a glory fest for those who crave gore, and the trailer shows this off in spades. While the original Deep Silver game was a gore-filled adventure, the tone was much darker and the colors were much less vibrant, however in this latest trailer it is clear that Dead Island 2 will pop out way more. So ripping and tearing through the hoards of beach dwellers will be much more eye candy than the original two games.
Dead Island 2 will offer 6 playable characters to experience the story with, each with their own abilities. While dialogue will differ from character to character, the core story remains the same. The player character will be someone who is immune to the outbreak’s virus. Perfect for someone who will likely be taking bites and scratches from all of the undead who roam the beaches and streets.
Returning in Dead Island 2 is Sam B. from the original Dead Island, where he was one of the four playable characters. The ending of Dead Island: Riptide left his fate in the air, so fans seeing him back in action for the first time in several years must be a relief, even though he isn’t a playable character. Sam is joined by several other new characters who will be helping the player throughout their time fending off the zombie hoards.
Dead Island 2 looks to be a thrilling ride with the enemy variety, different environmental hazards, and crazy characters. It really does seem to be the game many fans hoped it would turn out to be. The long wait is finally coming to a close as we are finally able to tear up the scene in Deep Silver’s Dead Island 2 as it comes out for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on April 21 and the pre-orders are still on. This is your welcome to HELL-A.
