Deep Sky Derelicts launched on Steam Early Access yesterday. Set in a dystopian future, and featuring a comic book-inspired aesthetic, the game puts players in the shoes of a "poor stateless outcast" living off scraps from derelict ships and alien stations. According to the game's Steam page,  players will be able to customize and control a squad of up to three mercenaries and head out looking for loot on various derelicts. As for handling foes, players can "challenge and defeat them in tactical turn-based fights, where randomly-drawn cards form your changing arsenal of combat actions".

Deep Sky Derelicts developer Snowhound Games aims for a complete version at the end of March, next year. The full version will feature a full-length campaign of around 10 to 20 hours with a complete story. The currently available version is very much a work in progress, but also comes with the Arena mode, where players can take pre-made squads on battles of ever-increasing difficulty. Deep Sky Derelicts is now available on Steam Early Access. It currently costs 15,99€, or your regional equivalent, and is expected to suffer a price increase once it leaves the program.
