Destiny 2 Official Open Beta Trailer Launched

The launch trailer for the Destiny 2 Open Beta was released yesterday, giving players an insight into what to expect.

The trailer confirms the open beta will include the opening story mission, Co-Op strike, and competitive multiplayer. Early access begins July 18 for those who pre-order, while the open beta begins July 21 at 6pm BST through to 5am BST on July 23. Xbox One users will receive early access one day later than PS4. Destiny 2, a first-person action game, is the follow up to Destiny, which received mixed reviews.

NoobFeed's Editor Adam said of the first instalment of the game in his Destiny review: "Destiny may not be a perfect game, but it's extremely fun to play." In Destiny 2, the last safe city on Earth has been destroyed and is occupied by Dominus Ghaul and his Red Legion army. 

Players must create a 'Guardian,' who are the protectors of humanity. Guardians must use new abilities and weapons to reunite and reclaim the city. It is said no previous knowledge or background is needed; so players can jump straight into Destiny 2 without playing the first.
