The upcoming expansion for Destiny called Rise of Iron is getting a new microtransaction that will surely not get a lot of fans in an uproar, paid experience boosters.

These boosters can only be purchased using Destiny's microtransaction currency Silver. Most items purchased using Silver are merely cosmetic, dances for example. You can obtain these boosters by Sterling Treasure Boxes or Radiant Treasures, which drop randomly or can be purchased using real-world money. The experience booster will increase experience gain for Crucible, House of Judgement, and Vanguard.
Destiny: Rise of Iron releases on September 20th on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Those who own the PS3 or Xbox 360 versions of the game can upgrade when Rise for Iron launches.
