Deus Ex Not Dead

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided didn't sell as well as intended and because of this the series has been put on hiatus. The studio behind the series, Eidos Montreal, has confirmed that the series is now dead.

When speaking to Victor Lucas studio head David Andossi wanted to assure fans that the series will continue. Anfossi said that Eidos Montreal “did not forget Deus Ex” and mentioned that that the studio was built on the cyberpunk franchise. “It’s not dead,” Anfossi added. “We just need to think about the future of it and make it correctly and respectfully.”

This should come as a relief for many fans as Deus Ex: Mankind Divided does leave a lot of questions unanswered. 

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

Eidos Montreal is currently working on Shadow of the Tomb Raider which releases September 14th.
