Devil May Cry Won't Feature a Physical Release for Nintendo Switch

Recently, Capcom announced that Devil May Cry would be coming to the Nintendo Switch this summer. However, those hoping for a physical copy will be disappointed. Capcom is only making the game available through the eShop.

Stated on the official DMC website: “This product is only available as a download. There are no plans to release a physical edition,” says the Devil May Cry website.

This is unfortunate but it's likely to cut cost. But perhaps if demand is large enough Capcom may have a limited run of physical copies. If you really want a physical copy you're going to need to purchase the original PS2 version or the HD collection that includes the original trilogy.
