Digimon Survive Developer's Diary Focus on History of Digimon

Digimon Survive has mostly gone dark since its reveal. With a new developer's diary now available highlighting the series history and a sneak peek at the franchise's future.

Habu Kazumasa and Tsuzuki Katsuaki, producers on the Digimon video games, provide an extensive look at their career developing the titles. Providing an experience that would appeal to fans while also being accessible to newcomers of all ages.

In the lead-up to the Digimon anime's 20th Anniversary, we sat down with Digimon video game producers, Habu Kazumasa and Tsuzuki Katsuaki to take a look back at the history of Digimon video games and provide a sneak peak at its future with Digimon Survive.

Katsuaki spoke about 2 different parts about Digimon Survive's gameplay. The first being the "drama part" that is like a text adventure. given the player ample choices to alter the story. The "battle part" has you in control of combat.

Digimon Survive is in development for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, or Xbox One.
