Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Release Date Is Pushed Towards 2024
Due to their tight schedule, EA has no plans to release Dragon Age: Dreadwolf soon.

When the new trailer for the Dragon Age: Dreadwolf dropped, fans were finally relieved to have another installment for their beloved series. Dragon Age's first few games captivated the best-playing medieval RPGs in the market, along with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Mount & Blade: Warband in the late 2000s to early 2010s. As a result, despite having no release date, the new trailer and announcement for the next installment, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, brought much hope to people.
No release date also meant Dragon Age: Dreadwolf could be in the distant future or just in the back of Bioware’s mind, and they would work on it whenever possible. Unfortunately, the latter seems to be the case, as EA released a sheet of financial reports for 2024, and Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is nowhere to be seen, especially after the Dragon Age III: Inquisition. This begs the question of whether Dreadwolf is going to be released in 2025 instead or if it is indefinitely in development. No matter, as we can clearly see that no new Dragon Age is planned to be released in 2023.
The reason for the delay might be the publisher company of Bioware, EA, and them being a very demanding company with sports and racing games being released every year. In fact, EA has listed a new untitled racing game and a new EA sports title in their financial report so that they will be getting hot attention before Dragon Age. Therefore we can understand the heavy load given to EA as a publisher as well as developers who work under EA’s roof. Sometimes EA can also dismiss releasing titles altogether and postpone them for a better time, but for now, the new Dragon Age is highly not likely to drop until 2025. Until then, fans of the series have to start playing through the old classics again and be patient as they were for the past few years.
