EA Releases Mass Effect Box Art Maker
Fans can make their own custom covers.

Electronic Arts has created a new online box cover maker for Mass Effect Legendary Edition. Rather than sticking with another old piece of promotional art that might not best represent each game, the editor allows players to customize their physical game box. Players cannot select a male or female Shepard, instead getting a masked N7 Spectre who can’t be easily identified as any gender, race, or age. Choices include color schemes of blue (Paragon), red (Renegade), or both (Neutral); as well as a location for the Normandy including the Citadel, Omega, Eden Prime, or Collector Base.
Players can also choose eight companions to place around Shepard. The first category of “Favorite Squadmates” has a limited selection of Ashley, Jack, Liara, Miranda, Tali, Thane, Wrex, Garrus, and Legion. However, the other categories open up for all squad members from the trilogy. But, placement order seems to have specific hierarchies that don’t let users pick who is on the left and right.
Once completed, users can transfer the art onto official Xbox One or PlayStation 4 box covers, as 4K wallpaper, or sized for social media.
