FF7 Remake Part 3 in Overdrive, Multiplatform Plans Rise

Final Fantasy 7 is one of the most essential and well-known video game franchises of all time. Due to the work done in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, the next game may not take as long to complete as some people think it will. Rebirth has already developed a significant portion of the open world, including the famous grasslands, Junon, and Cosmo Canyon. Part 3 can utilise a significant portion of the already-built environment. 

It will focus on improving combat, introducing playable characters like Vincent, and adding new features such as the airship. The move to releasing games on more than one platform is here to stay, with Rebirth confirmed for Switch 2 and Part 3 likely to follow. Even Yoshi-P from Creative Studio 3 hinted that Final Fantasy 16 might come to Switch 2 in the future, which supports the plan.

A new version of Final Fantasy 6, which is his favorite main game. He said that working on the Final Fantasy 7 remake series for the past ten years has been an enormous job. 

He also said that working on new projects, whether they are a new mainline title or another remake, would be a fun challenge. Fans are excited about the idea of Final Fantasy 6 getting the same level of care and a modern remake.

Interestingly, this fits with what other senior developers have been saying: that new voices need to take over the franchise.

People say that even Yoshi-P has said that Final Fantasy needs younger people to help it find new places. Hamaguchi is a part of this new wave. He knows the series’ history, but he’s not afraid to go beyond it. A lot of people believe he is the right person to take the franchise into its next era because he has shown a good mix of new ideas and respect in his work on Rebirth.
