Fictorum: An Up and Coming RPG Filled with Magic and Wizardry
An adventure backed by the thousands.

About a year after its inception on Kickstarter, Fictorum has finally been given a release date: August 9th, 2017. Developed by Scraping Bottom Games and powered by Unreal Engine 4, this game will take you on an adventure as the last all-powerful wizard belonging to a dark and verboten order; Fictorum. You must fight the Inquisition; the cause of Fictorum's collapse, and reverse their destruction.
As the player, your task is to hunt down the Grand Inquisitor and his empire by trekking through vast lands generated algorithmically. Here's the catch; you fight alone. You are the only one left that is capable of stopping the Inquisition and avenge the fallen Fictorum.
Each part of the randomly generated map grants many opportunities to encounter new spells, and often difficult choices to make. Do you investigate the happenings of a nearby village? Or fight dozens of men (and potentially take them out with a giant meteor)? You are given that freedom to choose your own path (freedom includes the ability to customize your very own character!).
You are able to equip runes to enhance and customize your spells through multiple user interfaces. There is once specific triangular-shaped interface (similar to that of The Witcher 3's) that you can use during combat, or if you feel like causing a little havoc, cast an apocalypse down onto a poor and defenseless village. This interface allows you to customize and enhance your spells before you cast.
Cause death and destruction with your very own magic triangle.
Fictorum is set to release on August 9th and will be available on Steam for PC (with full controller support!). You can find more info and trailers on Fictorum's official website.
