Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Event Coming Soon
Square Enix has big plans for Final Fantasy's big 30th anniversary

Square Enix announced today that the company plans to host an anniversary event for the franchise that saved the company, Final Fantasy.
The event titled "Final Fantasy 40th Anniversary Opening Ceremony" will be held at the TOHO Cinemas venture within the Roppongi Hills complex in Roppongi, Tokyo on January 31st. Two events will be held that showcase the same content.
Admission is free but only 200 fans, picked through a lottery, will be allowed to enter. All submissions must be made by January 9th here and Japanese Square Enix account is required.
Another event is planned at the Sapporo Snow Festival from February 6th to 12th held in the capital of Japan's northern island of Hokkaido.
As the moment only rumors about the event are available. This includes a special edition version of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age and the release of the first episode of Final Fantasy VII: Remake.
