From Software Teases Elden Ring Still In Development
The action role-playing game isn’t completely dormant.

Elden Ring has become somewhat notorious among the Dark Souls and Sekiro communities as potentially being a completely fabricated product, or worse a collective hallucination by the fanbase. The game was first announced back in 2019, long after Dark Souls 3 had concluded all of its planned DLC. It was touted as an evolution of the Souls series formula: bringing intense gameplay to an open world and deep lore created by A Song of Ice and Fire’s George RR Martin. Now, as part of the latest update to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, From Software went further to acknowledge fans’ mounting starvation for any Elden Ring news.

We also greatly appreciate all the enthusiasm and support shown for "ELDEN RING", our next Dark Fantasy Action RPG. We hope you look forward to it.

Although no additional details were given, hopefully this tease will lead to some more concrete information. At minimum, hopefully Elden Ring will be compatible with Xbox Series and PlayStation 5.
