Fullscreen Acquires Rooster Teeth Productions

Rooster Teeth just got a whole lot bigger

Burnie Burns, founder of Rooster Teeth Productions, announced today on Rooster Teeth’s official site that the company has forged a new alliance with Fullscreen. 

George Strompolos, CEO of Fullscreen, also made an announcement stating that “Rooster Teeth is one of the strongest and most authentic media brands in the world amongst 18-34 year old, male-skewing audiences. The combination of its massive reach, unique creative voice and insanely powerful community makes it a perfect match for Fullscreen. Burnie and Matt are widely recognized as true points in the world of online video. It’s an honor to team up with them as Fullscreen continues to refine youth media.”

Starting in 2003 Rooster Teeth quickly garnered popular support with comedic science-fiction series Red vs. Blue. Eventually the company would go on to develop and produce live-action shorts, a comedy gameplay branch called Achievement Hunter, a full animated production called RWBY and a new comedic superhero show X-Ray and Vav. The company also runs a multi-podcast network, and one of the largest Youtube multi-channel on the site today. In 2015 Rooster Teeth plans to release its feature film debutLazer Team, a science-fiction comedy film.

Rooster Teeth also plans to release an action strategy survival game called Rooster Teeth vs. Zombiens! this Thanksgiving for iOS devices.
