Ghost Recon: Wildlands Adding Loot Boxes

Last month a new update went live for Ghost Recon: Wildlands that added Predator to the game, with many fans returning to the game for the exciting promotion. Now Ubisoft has brought loot boxes to the game, which most likely won't have the same reception.

Called Battle Crates these loot boxes contain 3 items and cost 400 credits. Each crate is designed for Campaign, cooperative, and Ghost War mode. The Spec Ops Crates, available in cooperative mode, contains weapons, exotic weapons, vehicles, and cosmetic items.

Ghost Crates, available in Ghost War, contain exotic weapons, re-skinned versions of existing weapons, customization items, and an exclusive new line of skins for your avatar called Icons.

200 items are available for cosmetics alone. All items can be purchased in the store through pack offers with the exception of Icon skins in Ghost War Crates. No duplicates will be provided in any of the crates.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is now available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
