God Of War Ragnarok has been teased and revealed and now finally we have new gameplay. Showing up a grown Atreus, Freya regaining her warrior spirit, and the last of the Giants.
The title will take place years after the events of the first game with all 9 realms confirmed for the game. Thor and Freya will be the 2 main antagonists, both of who lost their children to Kratos and Atreus. The key focus will be Atreus' true heritage along with a little girl teased at the end that has been confirmed to be the last of the pureblood Giants.
The trailer showcases Kratos facing off against new enemies, revisiting old areas now frozen due to Fimbulwinter, and finally the studio confirming that Tyr is alive. Kratos will have access to a sled to travel the semi-open world and Atreus is shown to play a supporting role once again.
How this game will end the Norse Saga will be interesting. As those who played God of War know the game ended with a huge cliffhanger about Kratos' fate.
