Take-Two Interactive just made a whole lot of money. With their financial numbers for the fourth quarter of the past fiscal year confirming an absurd amount of sales thanks to Rockstar Games' GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2. Both games have shipped over 24 million copies, with GTA V now at 110 million copies shipped.
Red Dead Redemption 2 has passed 24 million copies and just received a new update for its online mode. It's insane how well these games have sold but considering the insane popular of Rockstar titles, it shouldn't come as a surprise. The studio is notorious for pushing open-world games to new standards and Red Dead Redemption 2 was no exception.
As for GTA V, while Rockstar canceled the single-player DLC the online mode has free considerable paid and free expansions. Keeping their fans happy and returning to the game constantly. Not to mention the insane amount of microtransactions in both games.
