Guillermo Del Toro Tweets "Fuck Konami"

Guillermo Del Toro, acclaimed director for films such as Hellboy and Pan's Labyrinth, lashed out at the Metal Gear publisher stating "Fuck Konami" on Twitter.

This tweet followed the grand reveal of a new trailer for Hideo Kojima's next game Death Stranding, which featured Guillermo Del Toro.

Since the departure of Hideo Kojima and the cancellation of the much well-received Silent Hill Konami has been in the spotlight for a lot of negative reception. During the last six month's of the development of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Kojima was isolated from his team and prevented from Konami from accepting an award last year.

This isn't the first time an acclaimed figure from the entertainment industry lashed out at Konami. Norman Reedus, who was cast as the protagonist for Silent Hill, tweeted a photo of a cup labelled "Konami Tears". 

Konami currently has a new Metal Gear game called Survive that takes place on an alternate timeline from the original game, The Phantom Pain.
