HTC Vive Orders Cancelled

Looks like the Oculus VR isn’t the only virtual reality device facing issues fulfilling pre-orders, HTC pre-order holders may face a similar issue.

The HTC Vive launches this week on April 5th however last week, and into the weekend, people reported that their orders were cancelled. This means that those unfortunate enough to have their orders cancelled will have to reserve a spot for the second wave, as stated by Reddit user Dr_Mibbles. 

Other complicating factors were addressed in this post. People posted complaints regarding slow payment processes and multiple channels have to jumped through. Oculus VR had a similar issue with supplying pre-orders, forcing to delay select orders.

Hopefully Sony will take this as a learning experience when their VR headset launches this year.
