Those who purchased the Breath of the Wild amiibos will be able to use them in Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition.
The Japanese website for Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition on Switch indicates that Breath of the Wild amiibo will be supported. This includes Archer Link, Horseback Link, and Zelda. If any of the Champion amiibos are also supported, they are not listed on the website. It's possible that other Zelda-themed amiibos will be supported as the Wii U versions did.
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is set to release Spring 2018.
