Insomniac Discusses the Process of Developing Spider-Man's New Suit

One of the most iconic features of Marvel's Spider-Man was his new suit. In the latest developer's diaries, Insomniac decided to share how the studio created the new suit.

Jacinda Chew, art director, explained that the suit's design was meant to capture what a 20-year-old superpowered teen would wear in the modern day. That's why his suit looks like it has sneakers and alethic wear. The red is reinforced while the blue is breathable and much more flexible. If you look at the suit the blue is in areas where Spider-Man would need that flexibility such as his legs and the inside of his arms, and the red covering vital areas such as his chest with the white with extra layers of protection.

Marvel's Spider-Man is now available for PS4.
