Kingdom Hearts 2.9 in Development

The Kingdom Hearts franchise is known for having wonderous worlds and annoyingly long titles. A new Kingdom Hearts game could be on the way and no, it’s not Kingdom Hearts 3.

First appearing on LinkedIn on game designer Richard W. VanDeventer Kingdom Hears 2.9 is in development for the PS3 and PS4. It’s unknown what this game is but according to VanDeventer’s profile he worked on boss planning, game idea planning and documentation, Attraction Flow planning and documentation, and Game Check and balance.

After the release of Kingdom Hearts 2.5 ReMix it’s possible that Square Enix is planning on releasing Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance or perhaps a re-released of KH 1.5 and KH 2.5 ReMix.
