Kirby wasn't left out of the Nintendo Direct stream today. A new game called Kirby: Battle Royale was announced for the 3DS.
In Battle Arena, the last Kirby standing in the battle wins. In Ore Express players gather rare gems and place them onto a train cart that comes on the map periodically.
A single-player mode and regional online battles will be available.
Kirby: Battle Royale launches January 19, 2018 for Nintendo 3DS.
